The North Shore community of Beverly, Massachusetts is located only eighteen miles north of Boston. Beverly is home to two colleges: Endicott College, a private, four-year liberal arts school; and Montserrat College of Art, a private four-year visual arts college.

The first American cotton mill was created in Beverly, Mass, and there is also a monument in Northern Beverly claiming that it is the birthplace of the industrial revolution. Beverly’s North Shore Music Theater offers celebrity concerts and is also home to one of the largest non-profit musical theater education departments in all of New England.
