Danvers, Massachusetts is very much a family-oriented town, with many schools and much history to be explored. In 1692, the witch frenzy hit Massachusetts. Rebecca Nurse was a resident of Danvers who was considered a witch at the time. Her home, the Putnam House, can be visited in Danvers today.

Another famous historical Danvers event was the fire that took down the Danvers State Hospital. Some say the former patients of that hospital still haunt the grounds today.
