Adams, Massachusetts is a small town tucked between the Hoosac Range and Mount Greylock. Mount Greylock is the highest point in Massachusetts and offers plenty of hiking. In 2008, Adams was added to the Top 200 Towns for Outdoorsman list. Adams is only fifteen minutes from both the Vermont and New York borders. Adams is filled with history, being the birthplace to Quaker civil rights leader and abolitionist Susan B. Anthony. Anthony’s childhood home has been made into a museum. Adams also houses the Quaker Meeting House which dates back to 1782 and is still open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
