Located only six miles west of downtown Boston, the village of Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts joins the communities of Brookline, Newton, and Boston. A large portion of Chestnut Hill holds the nearly 60-acre Hammond Pond Reservoir forest preserve and protected wetlands. Famous Chestnut Hill natives include; Boston Red Sox manager Terry Francona, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, and former Governor Leverett Saltonstall.
