Clinton, Massachusetts is located 15 miles from Worcester and 35 miles from Boston. Clinton is home to The Wachusett Reservoir. During the reservoir’s creation in 1908, some residential areas in Clinton had to be relocated due to flooding. The reservoir was constructed to provide drinking water for the greater Boston area. Through the 19th century, Clinton’s primary source of economic fortune was textile manufacturing.
Today, the old mill buildings still stand but have been converted into contemporary offices.
