Dover, Massachusetts is a relatively rural, residential town in Norfolk County and is located 20 miles southwest of Boston. The Dover Historical Society has restored and re-opened two historical buildings to the public as museums; the Caryle House, dating back to the 1700s, and the Sawin Building, dating back to the early 1900s when it was used as a meeting house. The ‘Town of Friendship’, as it has been nicknamed, is also the location of sightings of a bigfoot creature, known by locals as the ‘Dover Demon’.
