Before developing into a summer resort location in the 1800’s, Eastham’s economy was based on farming, fishing, and shipbuilding. Originally settled by pilgrims, Eastham sits between Providence, RI and Boston, MA. Some undeveloped areas still remain in the National Parks, but most of Eastham, Massachusetts has been developed into resorts or housing.
