Located 52 miles from Springfield, Leyden, Massachusetts is one of the northernmost towns in all of Massachusetts. Leyden shares a border with Vermont, and some of Vermont’s Green Mountains run through Leyden as well. Today the town still makes its money from the production of beef, pork, wool, butter and maple sugar. Leyden is very small with few residents, but very scenic with foliage covering the mountains.
