Mansfield, Massachusetts is 26 miles south of Boston and 19 miles north of Providence, RI. Mansfield is widely known for the Comcast Center, a popular concert venue which is one of the most well known venues in all of Massachusetts. In the earlier days of Mansfield, its land was used mostly for hunting and livestock grazing. Not much of Mansfield was developed until the railroads were built. Today, Mansfield thrives off of large industrial parks. These parks revived the economy and brought jobs to local residents.
