The Berkshires commuity of Montague, Massachusetts is divided into five villages; Montague Center, Montague City, Lake Pleasant, Millers Falls and Turners Falls. Each village encompasses something different. Turners Falls is the industrial center, hosting the town offices, paper mills and an industrial park. Montague City borders the Connecticut River, while Lake Pleasant still serves as the main water supply for the town. Montague Center is a historic village dating back to the 1830’s and filled with streams, farms, clapboard houses and a village green.
