In 1939, the spring water from Pepperell, Massachusetts won first place for quality at the World’s Fair. Today, the water continues to be sold by commercial bottling companies. Pepperell does not have many chain businesses or even a traffic light, but the town is continuing to grow in its own right.

There are several bodies of water in Pepperell including Heald Pond and Coon Tree Pond. There are also multiple rivers that flow through the town including Reedy Meadow Brook, Nashua River, and Gulf Brook.
