Tolland, Massachusetts is located on the banks of the Farmington River, 27 miles west of Springfield. Due to the river flowing through town, Tolland started with an industrial economy – many factories started by using the river for power. Today, the town’s economy is predominently agricultural with a focus on cattle and dairying, maple syrup production, and apple harvests.
